Service update
While Pitsea Library is being redeveloped, from 21 October 2024 to winter 2026 this library will open for longer hours than normal: 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Saturday.

- Monday - 9am to 5.30pm
- Tuesday - 9am to 5.30pm
- Wednesday - 9am to 5.30pm
- Thursday - 9am to 5.30pm
- Friday - 9am to 5.30pm
- Saturday - 9am to 5pm
- Sunday - Closed

- Games and Puzzles Club, every fourth Saturday of the month 10am to 12noon
- Reading the Rainbow, a safe, inclusive book group for those who love books - especially LGBTQ+ ones, every first Saturdays of the month 3pm to 5pm
- Stay and Play, for children under 5, Fridays 10am to 10.45am
- Vange Library Book Group, every last Thursday of the month 11am to 1pm
