Following Government guidance for the roadmap out of lockdown, we can confirm Libraries are reopening to the public on Monday 12 April with new opening times.
We have listened to the feedback we have received from customers during lockdown about our temporary winter opening hours timetable and have adjusted our opening hours accordingly.
For customers who prefer to visit at later times or who are unable to access a library during the day, there will be one library open until 7pm every weekday in each locality.
Libraries will now stay open until 5.30pm when they are open all day, and nearly all our libraries will be open on a Saturday until 5pm.
We hope these changes will mean customers will have more opportunities to visit libraries at times that better suit them. The changes will also increase the current total number of hours libraries are open.
The timetable will remain in place until the end of March 2022. At this time, the hours will be reviewed so your feedback would be very welcome. Please email any feedback or comments to firstname.lastname@example.org
