Join us in the Children's Library from 10:00 until 16:00 for a day of Fantasy, Science Fiction and Superhero arts and crafts in collaboration with Invasion Colchester!
We'll have Make Your Own Comic and Design Your Own Character pages to spark the creation of the next Dog Men and Wonder Women!
We'll also have Become Your Own Superhero crafts available where you can build your very own superhero costume crafts, such as masks and shields.
As if that wasn't enough, we will also have free and open access all day to the Cavendish Media Studio where you can head up to create your own professional style photographs and make use of our green screen to send your new superheroes on adventures to distant planets defeating evil tyrants, or chilling on Earth and helping cats out of trees!
Every Saturday throughout the Summer holidays, join us for a music-themed craft session to celebrate this year's Summer Reading Challenge, 'Read to the Beat'. Materials will be provided to make something different every week.
