Lab in the Library

The Travelling Librarian and the Circus Escape
Join us for a sensory storytelling experience with the Travelling Librarian! No booking required.
When the Librarian comes across a circus on her travels she’s so excited for a night at the big top. With clowns, acrobats, jugglers and the best act of all ‘Bonzo’ the one monkey jazz band.

Big School Meetups
Fun, relaxed sessions for children who are starting school for the first time in September. Enjoy a storytime, activities and a chance to meet other families whose children are also starting at the same school! Running in every library from now until September, find out if your local meetup is happening this half term!
Craft Day: Taylor’s Version
A day of free crafts, games, and trail all themed around Taylor Swift! Come dressed as your favourite era and enjoy lots of fun, plus the opportunity to make your own friendship bracelet!
Saturday 31 May 2025, 9:00am at Clacton Library
Attendance on the day is free and no need to book (dress up optional), but bracelet making sessions must be booked in advance.
Explore Learning Workshops
Boost your child’s skills in areas that many struggle with, including: grammar, measurements, multiplication, telling the time. Education is woven into engaging themes like medieval knights and magic potions to keep your child entertained in these interactive workshops at North Melbourne Library and Manningtree Library.
