Dementia Action Week is fast approaching and Essex Libraries, are dedicated to raising awareness and promoting understanding of this condition, not only during this important week but throught the year. In addition to our newly curated list of helpful books; which we hope will empower those living with dementia , we are also hilighting our wonderful memory cafes

Did you know that can get a dedicated library card if you are living with dementia? The Memory Library Card incurs no fees or charges, so if customers forget to return library items on time, they won’t be charged. Please your library helpful library staff about a memory card.
