Local Writers' Showcase

Join us for an exciting day at Chelmsford Library on November 16, 2024, where you’ll have the chance to meet talented local authors from all over Essex! This event is a fantastic opportunity to discover new reads, support local talent, and even find the perfect early Christmas gift with books available for purchase.

 

The Local Writers’ Showcase features a diverse mix of self-published and traditionally published writers, including Vicky Ball, Sarah Banham, Becky Davies, Joshua Ferdinand, Leonora A Headley, Justin Johnson, Sheetha Khan-Boonserm, Owen W Knight, Sherelle Parke, Laurine Traquair, and Jaqueline Wright. Each author will have a stall where you can chat with them about their books, writing process, and inspirations.

 

One of the highlights of the day will be the Writer’s Slam at 1:00 PM, where authors will share their work in a lively and engaging format. This is a great chance to experience the creativity and passion of our local writers first hand.
