Increase your digital and financial skills

A new course being rolled out across Essex aims to give you the skills and confidence to tackle everyday digital and financial tasks.
The Digital Levelling Up course takes place in libraries over five sessions lasting between an hour and 90 minutes each, and is led by library staff known as ‘Digital Champions’.
The course covers:
Session 1: Essential digital skills
Session 2: How to use my computer or mobile phone; digital security
Session 3: NHS app; using gov.uk; online marketplace
Sessions 4 and 5: content tailored to your own individual needs (established with the help of a short diagnostic test)
The course has been created by Essex Libraries and is run in partnership with Barclays and Digital Essex.
