Improvements to Burnham-on-Crouch Library

Improvement works are underway to support the development of a new partnership between Essex Libraries and HCRG ( Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Services).

This initiative will create a community office space for HCRG; increasing opportunities for families in the Burnham‑on‑Crouch area,  whilst strengthening collaborative provision of  baby changing and toilet facilities for all.

While the work is being carried out, the car park will not be available for use by our members. However, most of the building works are planned to take place during times when the library is normally closed, so disruption to library users will be kept to a minimum.

The project is scheduled for completion on 10 August 2026.
