Sign up for library reminders from Essex Libraries

Do you sometimes forget to return or renew your library books on time?  With our email reminders you’ll never forget again as we’ll send you an alert a few days before your items are due.

There are 2 easy steps to start receiving library reminders:

  1. Make sure your correct email address is on your library record – you can do this yourself by logging into your account or by asking a member of staff to check for you on your next visit to the library
  2. Ask for email notifications to be activated on your account – you can contact us by email, telephone or by asking staff on your next visit to the library

Parents/Guardians can also add an email address to their child’s library card to receive notifications about their items as well.
