Does your book group enjoy a challenge?

Hands hold a reading book open
05 April 2019

Books Unlocked is a National Literacy Trust project bringing together book groups in the community and in prisons to share the enjoyment of reading for pleasure, by reading and discussing Man Booker Prize shortlisted books.

This will be the third year that Essex Libraries has run the project, in conjunction with HMP/YOI Chelmsford and we’re looking for two book groups to take part this summer.

The groups that have already been involved found it a really enjoyable and rewarding experience. If you’d like to take part, or just want to find out more information, email reading.groups@essex.gov.uk by 10 May 2019.
