Many people are using our resources for the first time, or perhaps using parts of our services they’ve never used before. So we’ve put the most relevant information about what we offer in one place on our catalogue – our new one-stop shop for #LibrariesFromHome.

If you’re not already a library member, you can join the library online and receive a temporary card number to access many of our online resources.

For free e-books, e-audiobooks, e-newspapers, e-magazines and e-comics there are direct links to RBdigital, BorrowBox and PressReader, plus links to download their apps to your own device. We’ve also made some quick start video guides on using these and some #OneMinuteBookReviews with spoiler free ideas from library staff on what to read next.

For children (and parents!) there’s a section for our popular online Rhymetimes, Story times and Crafts so you can view all the videos from one place. Join in with the actions and sing along to some much-loved songs and rhymes, enjoy sharing stories, and be inspired to get creative as you build, craft and create.

For book groups, find video tips on how to start and organise your online book group and where to find your next read - with more to come!

If you’ve an interest in family history, there’s a section linking to our online family history resources currently available to use from home rather than coming into a library.

Our #LibrariesFromHome page will be updated as our services develop, so there’s no need to hunt around the website for the information you need.

While our library buildings are closed, the library service is still open!
