Come and vote for BookTrust Storytime’s best storybook!

The BookTrust Storytime Prize was launched in 2019 to find the best book for sharing with children aged 0-5.

Previous winners include Cyril and Pat by Emily Gravett, This is Owl by Libby Walden and Jacqui Lee, and The Whales on the Bus by Katrina Charman and Nick Sharratt.

With Essex Library Service, you have the chance to take part in the national poll, running from November to the end of March. At the end we'll find out, from a shortlist of six, which is the nation's favourite storybook - and which is the favourite storybook here in Essex.

Libraries will be running special storytimes where you can come along and enjoy the brilliant stories and be part of this exciting event.

Vote at your local library at the end of the storytime session and make sure your favourite book wins!  You can also take part in the Essex vote online.

Want to know more about the books we are voting on?  Then why not borrow a copy from your local library, watch a video of the author reading their book or go over to the BookTrust website to find our more.

Have fun!
