Become a Library Ambassador

Pointing finger in cartoon style
03 September 2018

Are you creative? Persuasive? A people person? Aged 13 to 18?

If you answered YES to all of the above then you are just who we are looking for and you could volunteer to be one of our Library Ambassadors for this academic year, 2018/19.

You will be much better than us at telling other young people what libraries have to offer - like free Wi-Fi, homework support, reading ideas and other volunteering opportunities.

To help you spread the word we’ll send you five emails over the year with information about the services we’d like you to promote. You can then tell your friends, people at your schools and at other activities you take part in. You could also promote them via your social media accounts or come up with other creative ways to tell teenagers about libraries!

If you give us permission we’ll share your name and year group with other Library Ambassadors at your school so you can work together if you want to.

Were you a Library Ambassador last academic year (2017/18)? If you were, then you do not need to reapply if you have informed us you wish to continue.

Apply online now or email us for more information.
