Mervyn Linford will be reading from his poetry and talking about his inspirations. This event forms part of the Essex Poetry Festival 2018.

Mervyn Linford

Mervyn has been writing poetry for more than four decades. His work has been widely published in magazines, including 'The Essex Countryside Magazine', 'The London Magazine', 'The Countryman' and 'The Independent'. He has been editor of 'Littoral' magazine. He has published 11 collections of poetry, including 'Autumn Manuscript' (2001), 'The Beatitudes of Silence' (2003), 'Credo' (2017) and 'Collected Poems' (2017).

His readings have been broadcast on both local and national radio. He has been a member of the Southend Poetry Group for over twenty years.
