Reading Well for Teens

One in ten teenagers experience a mental health issue during their adolescence. Reading Well for Teens is a scheme to help young people aged 13-18 years manage their mental health, wellbeing and resilience using recommended reading.

Chosen by teenagers and health experts, the list contains a mixture of fiction and non-fiction titles and covers topics such as managing feelings, anxiety, sexuality, gender identity and mental health, depression and body image. 

You can reserve any of the items below. Online reservations are easy, free and
delivered to the library of your choice.
